Bob Taylor, a larger than life character with a personality to match is one of the most popular comedians and multi talented entertainers around today. He has appeared at many of the premier theatres and cabaret venues in the UK. Cruise lines include Cunard, Fred Olsen, Sun Cruises and many more. Hotels include Sun International Hotels (South Africa), Thompson Gold Hotels, all the Warner Historic Hotels where he is one of their most frequently booked and popular entertainers.
The main part of Bob’s act has an emphasis on humour, which hardly seems surprising being born and bred in Liverpool. Bob has ‘’the gift’’ of making people laugh, his sharp wit,’’ laid back style’’, along with well timed deliveries are his greatest asset. He also has the experience and ability to read an audience well, and is always careful not to offend.
Bob Taylor is an accomplished entertainer, his enduring vocal style, bring alive such favourites as Elton John’s, ‘’Can You Feel the Love To night, and Robbie Williams’s ‘’Angels’’. He can take you down memory lane recreating music of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s.
Bob is also a fine guitar player (going back to his earlier days as a musician) and often plays during his act, featuring classics from Artistes like Don Maclean and James Taylor. You may witness a parody or two, culminating in a Hilarious impression of the king himself, Elvis.
Another area where Bob excels is his knowledge of the Beatles, being a life long Beatles fan he has developed a very good, informative lecture combining their music, photographs, and history which is proving extremely popular.
