Quay Strings are a professional string quartet resident in the South West of England. The group has become recognised for their energetic and charismatic performances and pride themselves on their professional approach.
With their beautiful presentation and extensive, diverse repertoire, Quay Strings are quickly becoming one of the South’s favourite String ensembles.
Their members have performed and recorded with many of the country’s major orchestras, including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, and the English Chamber Orchestra.
They have also performed live on many broadcasts for radio and television. Quay Strings have a wealth of experience in classical and contemporary repertoire, and are experienced performing in a wide range of events, from intimate informal weddings to major corporate functions. Quay Strings’ players are all members of the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra. They are experienced, professional musicians who perform in a wide variety of situations, from solo performances and chamber music recitals, to symphony orchestra concerts.
They have performed privately for a handful of invited guests, and have also performed for audiences numbering in the thousands. This wide variety of experience makes Quay Strings feel comfortable performing in any given situation.
